Forecasts

   Assumptions of Russian specialists about when the crisis is over, vary widely: from a few months (Dvorkovich AV), up to several decades (Kudrin, AL). Similarly diverse, though not as drastic, forecasts give and foreign authors. The reasons for the scatter in the fact that public figures, on the one hand, fear of negative moods, and even panic among market participants, including consumers, and try to calm people optimistic predictions and assurances that "Everything under control." On the other hand - have to justify the adoption of unpopular measures, it is easier to do against the backdrop of pessimistic forecasts. In addition, many political analysts and the media who just want to raise the rating of publications biting apocalyptic predictions.

However, forecasts of national governments about the impact of the crisis on their economies, in most cases are more optimistic than that of other economies and the world at large, and often referred to as late 2009 or early 2010.
